Global Health Innovations and Action Foundation was established in 2013 to contribute to improved health outcomes in developing countries during the Sustainable Development Era and beyond. Our Foundation envisions a world in which women live longer and healthier lives, a mission designed to reduce morbidity and mortality among women in developing countries by strengthening health systems to deliver high quality, comprehensive healthcare when a woman needs it most.
GHIA Foundation does this by delivering an essential health package including cervical and breast cancer screening and treatment in selected developing countries. We strengthen these health systems through the maternal health platform as an entry point — beginning with sub-Saharan Africa. The Foundation is currently engaged in Liberia and Swaziland, but we hope to expand to other countries in the near future.
